All fitness levels are welcome in our classes. Highly trained instructors will guide you through a safe and effective workout. If you’re new, let the instructor know-they are always able to suggest modifications! Everyone’s abilities are different and we want everyone to feel included and welcomed. These top-quality classes are fun, inspiring, and build lifelong skills.

All classes are free for Students and SRAC Members.

Fitness Class Schedule: Spring 2023

Fitness Class Offerings

Aqua: This 60 minute class takes place outside in the pool. Some classes take place in the recreation (shallow) pool and some classes take place in the deep pool, so basic ability to swim is needed. You’ll use equipment and water resistance to help you work on your strength and endurance.

Body Combat (Les Mills): Body Combat is a high-energy martial arts-inspired workout that combines elements of Karate, Taekwondo, Boxing, Muay Thai, Capoeira and Kung Fu for a killer workout (this is a completely non-contact class).

Body Pump (Les Mills): This 60 minute class uses a barbell (with alternating weight) and high repetitions to give you a full body workout. The instructor guides you through the class and movement choreography, modeling exercises and offering encouragement with great music to push you through. 

Cardio Boxing: This 30 minute class gets your heart pumping and combines boxing with cardio/HIIT exercises for a killer workout. You’re welcome to bring your own gloves if you have them, and if not we have some you can borrow!

Cycle: All of our cycle classes are 45 minutes long. The instructors cheer you on as you pedal your way through the workout!

Grit Cardio (Les Mills): This 30 minute class is a high-intensity interval training (HIIT) workout that helps improve your cardiovascular fitness and helps increase your agility. These workouts don’t use any equipment - you learn how to use your own bodyweight to challenge yourself.  

Groov3: This 60 minute class is a choreographed dance party led by your instructor. She’ll guide you through the movements and make sure you have a blast in the process!

Pop Pilates: This 60 minute class helps you build strength using only your bodyweight and challenges you to flow rhythmically from one exercise to the next. You’ll work on strength and flexibility and the only equipment you need is a mat. 

UJam: UJam is an urban dance workout that combines everything from hip-hop to samba to Bollywood to get you moving. Don’t worry if you’re not a dancer - the instructor will guide you through! This class is 60 minutes long.

Yoga: We have a variety of 60 minute yoga classes on the schedule. Often, at the beginning of each class, the instructor will ask if there’s anything participants would like to work on to get a feel for the needs and experience levels of the participants. You can always expect to work on flexibility, breathing, and relaxation.
