Join us on a whitewater extravaganza as we paddle down the American River! Enjoy the white water and class three rapids.

Activity level: 3/5.  (You should be ready to paddle and be comfortable going into the water)

Outdoor Adventure Leadership Institute

Get cozy with nature and learn how to treat the Earth like it’s your home - because it is! This beginner-friendly, 5-session course is designed to get you acquainted with the outdoors.

You will learn:

  • Leadership.

  • Leave No Trace Principles

  • Team building.

  • Trip planning.

  • Risk management and more.

Course: 6-session course over 3 weeks

Castle Rock Backpacking

Join us on a Journey as we hike through Castle Rock with towering sandstone cliffs, sky scraping redwoods, waterfalls and incredible views of the forest.

You Provide: Clothes (for cold weather, some gear on gear list, food, and a great attitude!

Skill level: Beginner-friendly

Activity level: 2 out of 5. (Must be able to hike over rough terrain with a heavy backpack.) 3 miles each way. Suited for beginner backpackers.

Rain Check: Trip runs rain or shine. Rain is possible.

Trip Description: Join us on a Journey to Santa Cruz on a California surf trip!

You Provide:  Swimsuit, clothes for after swimming, cash for boardwalk, and a good boardwalk. Stoke!

Strenuosity Levels: Depends on weather/waves. May be challenging.

Rain Check: This trip runs rain or shine. In the event of inclement weather, unsafe surf conditions, or company cancellation, then this event will be postponed.

Trip Description: Join us on a journey, as we paddle through the winding calm waters of Elkhorn Slough, surrounded by an abundance of wildife.
