Get to know the parks, beaches, and forests within 1 hour drive of SJSU. We’ll not only share some of our favorite local places to go with you, but we’ll also give you tips on how to get there. 

Even though San Jose State University is located in the middle of a large city, there are plenty of opportunities to grab a fresh breath of air and explore a new trail within a 1 hour drive from campus. 

If you are participating in the “Spartans Summiting Mt. Everest From Home Challenge,” this program counts as one of the “Camps” you will need to stop at to make it to the Summit!
